Video Production

Video made for the channel it lives on.

Motion, storytelling and visual craft across shorts, reels and long-form. Shot and cut for the platform it is going to, rather than reformatted afterwards and hoping nobody notices.

Most brand video is made once and used badly.

A shoot gets commissioned, a hero film is delivered, and it is then cropped, trimmed and squeezed into six formats it was never designed for. Viewers can tell. Vertical video conceived as vertical outperforms a rotated horizontal frame every time, and the decision that determines this is made before the camera is set up, not in the edit.

Format is a production decision, not a post-production rescue.

What you get

What we make.

01

Short-form vertical

Reels, Shorts and TikTok-native video framed vertically from the first storyboard, built to hold attention in the first second.

02

Brand and product films

Longer-form work for the website, sales process and launches, where the job is comprehension rather than scroll-stopping.

03

Editing existing footage

Often the fastest return available. Most brands hold usable material that was shot for one purpose and never cut for another.

04

Motion and graphics

Titles, subtitles and motion design, including the burned-in captions that most social video is actually watched with.

05

Direction and storyboarding

Concept, script and shot planning, so the shoot day produces what the channel needs rather than what looked good on set.

How it runs

Plan, shoot, cut, deliver.

01

Pre-production

Concept, script, storyboard and shot list, agreed with the destination channel already decided.

02

Shoot

Production run against the plan, capturing the alternate framings the formats will need.

03

Edit

Cut per channel rather than one master crudely resized, with agreed revision rounds.

04

Deliver

Final files in every required format and aspect ratio. Raw footage is yours, including the material that did not make the cut.

Questions

The things people actually ask.

How much does video production cost?

It depends almost entirely on crew, location and shoot days rather than final runtime. A day of studio product work and a multi-location brand film are different orders of magnitude. Editing existing footage is far cheaper than commissioning a shoot, and is often the better first step.

Can you work with footage we already have?

Yes, and we often recommend starting there. Most brands have unused material shot for one purpose and never cut for another. Auditing the archive before booking a crew usually produces faster returns.

Do you make content for Reels and Shorts?

Yes, built vertically from the start. Cropping a horizontal film into a vertical frame is visible to viewers and it performs accordingly.

How long does video production take?

Two to six weeks typically, across pre-production, shoot and edit. Approval rounds are the usual cause of overrun, so we agree the number of revision rounds before starting.

Who owns the footage?

You do, including raw files. Ask this of any production partner before signing, because retained raws are a common way to make future work dependent on the original supplier.
